Print it around 3 × 3 cm for a card on a reception desk or a bedside table, larger if it hangs on a wall. Keep a clear white margin around the code and avoid printing it on a dark or patterned background. If your password contains a semicolon, comma, colon or backslash, the generator escapes it for you — but a short, simple guest password is still the most reliable option.

Both iOS and Android read WiFi QR codes with the native camera. Hidden networks need the hidden flag set, and enterprise networks (WPA2-Enterprise with a login) cannot be encoded in a QR code at all — only open, WEP and WPA/WPA2/WPA3 personal networks.

Static or dynamic?

Static is perfect here, and we will not pretend otherwise. The credentials must be inside the code for the phone to connect offline; a dynamic redirect would break the feature entirely. Only reprint the card if you change the password.
